Canteen & dietary requirements
The lunch programme
Section titled “The lunch programme”The school offers a nutritious lunch programme for all students. Students are not permitted to bring their own lunch packages, as they are provided with fruit snacks and a hot lunch service.
Lunch break, including time to eat in the cafeteria, runs from 11:55 to 12:45 — see break & lunch times.
Allergies and dietary requirements
Section titled “Allergies and dietary requirements”For any student that has a food allergy or special dietary request, it is important that parents complete the Dietary Requirements Form with the School Nurse.
If your child has severe allergies and you have concerns, please call or drop in to see the school nurse.
This is one of the items on the first-week checklist — it is worth doing before your child’s first day rather than after.
At the table
Section titled “At the table”No devices may be used, or be present on tables, in the Common Area or Canteen at meal times. Head and earphones should not be worn during meal times. See responsible use of technology.
Food bought off campus
Section titled “Food bought off campus”Students in Years 12 and 13 with off-campus privileges may buy food off campus, but it must be eaten off campus and cannot be brought onto school grounds. See off-campus privileges.
