Complaints procedures
Raising a concern
Section titled “Raising a concern”The code of conduct for parents & caregivers does not prevent parents or carers from raising a legitimate complaint in an appropriate fashion.
In most cases the school hopes that all complaints and concerns can be resolved through open dialogue with class teachers or other members of staff as appropriate.
The usual order
Section titled “The usual order”- The class or homeroom teacher — the first point of contact for anything day-to-day.
- The phase coordinator — if the concern remains.
- The Head of School — if it is still not resolved satisfactorily.
The formal complaints policy
Section titled “The formal complaints policy”Where you are not satisfied with the responses received, the school asks that you follow the complaints procedure as laid out in its school complaints policy.
This is available to you upon request — contact the school and they can arrange for a hard copy to be made available.
Contact details are on the contact information page.
Not through social media
Section titled “Not through social media”The school asks that concerns are not aired on social media — see parents’ use of social media.
